About Nika
Hi! Welcome to my blog! My name is Nika, and I believe that all of us can look and be our best both inside and out. I blog about fashion, beauty, health and fitness, parenting and self-development. By day, I am an Attorney who is passionate about advocating to bring about positive changes in people’s loves. I moved to the U.S. from Jamaica as a pre-teen, and since then I’ve worked toward living what I like to call the “irie life” (see below). I currently live with my husband, son and stepdaughter in New Jersey.
Irie Chic’s Mission
"Irie" is a Jamaican word that essentially means excellent, powerful and pleasing. Through the blog and social media, I aim to use the Irie Chic brand to inspire women to live and walk in their purpose by taking care of their inner and outer beauty.
